Ok. I might can do this.

Today was the 5th and best trip yet to the YMCA. After reading a buncha stuff and upon advice from my many personal trainers (everyone I know that works out except me) I have decided to do the following.

a. 7-10 minutes of warm up (walking briskly on treadmill, etc)
b. 20 minutes of weight training (today was chest and arms)
c. 30 minutes of cardio (treadmill at my target heart rate (145))

That was perfect. It was also the first day when I didn't feel like I was going to die. I think I could have done another 30 minutes but we were there until 10:00 when they closed. Liz did THIRTY MINUTES on the eliptical machine after her weights and stuff. ROCK ON, SISTER!

Mikey and Liz.....Congrats! I've been here and done all that. You're right, it ain't fun, but the results are very rewarding. You are finding your "pace" and now, the difficult part is keeping-on. That weight didn't get on there quickly, so it will not dissappear quickly. But, it will go away! Regards, Rico
